I Went on the James Joseph yesterday. I struggled and caught 6 blackfish for the trip which were not the "big size" that I usually catch on that boat. You should be better off if you go next week as the tide will be in your favor. Try to pick a day when high tide is around 11 so that you will be able to fish both sides of the tide. Yesterday low tide was at 11 so it made for just average fishing. Just take note that the James Joseph is a great boat to catch blackfish but it is NOT a good place for children or delicate ears.
