Date: Sunday June 4th

Vessel: Gemini

Location: Hudson Canyon.

Outcome: Bluefin Tuna Blitz

Hello Friends of the Noreast been a while but had to had to share.

This past Saturday evening I was invited to Join my friends Team Gemini for what turned out to be a really "epic" trip to the Hudson Canyon in the hunt Blue fin tuna. We left the dock at 1:30 Am in the pitch black headed off shore arriving at first light from that moment on it was Lock and load fishing.

Starting with our first hookup we landed a keeper fish of smaller size so we released it keeping our keep count>> then it happened and we hooked up with a GIANT and we landed a 69" Blue fin exceeding 200 lbs. and from there it was off to the races with multiple hook ups all day and at some points we had 5 on at one time, all in all we had 16 strikes landing 12 fish but only keeping our limit.

We dd get to keep an extra fish Sunday considering we caught a slot fish on the over side which made it all that much better. Fish on!!
