Fished aboard The Angler II this morning on the 8am trip. Rather cold morning, but the weather shaped up beautifully for an early april day. There were 8-10 keepers for 10 anglers. believe it or not, i didnt see any shorts at all come over the rail. And once again, bloodworms were the ticket. Not one bite i recall on the mussels. Saw a few other boats on the water as well who didnt seem to be fairing too well with the winter flatties. Was a good day all in all being out on the water finally thank god. flounders just aint what they were. Cant wait for fluke season this year. A ton of 1/4 inch short flukes sound better than no flounder at all to me. FLOUNDERS ARE DEAD!!! LONG LIVE THE FLUKE!! <like href="http://www.noreast.com/postedreports/view.cfm?id=64338" send="false" show_faces="false" width='layout="button_count"'></like> |
