I would rig it with a teaser about 8 to 12 inches above. I just use spearing because I have too much trouble with the squid folding over and getting hooked on the Spro.
You may want to buy the Gulp chartreuse twisty tail grubs and put them on instead of the spearing.

Drop the rig to the bottom and bounce it as you drift. When you feel a hit delay on second and then set the hook.
If you are having trouble holding bottom cast up into the drift and work the jig back to the boat.

Good luck.

Cast out, hit bottom, bounce it back to boat and repeat. You can put a teaser on it, and a spearing thru the eye. On a fast drift, cast up current hit bottom bounce and bring in the slack.

Angle cast in the current (across) and swim it like a fly fisherman fishs a wet fly. THis allows the jig profile to be seen by the fish, swimmin gup and away from it. Persoanlly that ismy favorite technique for BTing, although it is not always possible to do due to conditions and fishing on a PB.
