Just woundering how much you have cut back on your offshore adventures? I know the price of fuel is high and reports are not so hot. At this point in the past how many trip have you made to this year.

Offshore

Have been twice so far Normally would have been 8 to 10 times by now(weather permitting) Fuel cost is about 25% of the equation and 75% lack of fish and good temp breaks and warm core eddy's that have come into our area for the few trips taken. If it was not for the Big Eye bite and numerous Blue and White Marlin we have seen the season it would have been a real bust so far. Season is not over and there are hopefully some good weeks to come. Good luck out there.

I have cut back a bit due to other circumstances other than fuel..... No fish, weddings and other family crap that I got dragged to... That sort of thing.. I am anticipating a good fall however, so I hope the upcoming month and a half holds out weatherwise!

Cutting back indeed. The main reason is the lack of offshore tuna. If the fish were there we would sail. But at today?s prices the ?SOCK DRAW MONEY?????.LOL is just not there. Image such a great Labor day weather weekend and we are doing the fluke drift. So to answer the question, yes.
