Will be sepnding the week of July 4th in Hilton Head SC (Hilton Head Island). Any info on surf fishing in that area? Have read else where that the area at Hilton Head Island was shallow and "too mucky" to wade out .
Hope not.

It is going to be HOT down there and I would much rather bring a rod than my bag of clubs.

I went to hilton head island once,,, it is the most beatiful place i have ever seen,,, the water is like a bath,,, i can remember swimming off the beach and schools of fish jumping over my head, literally...... i also seen guys fishng with live shrimp...
