Have been using green power pro 30# which needs to be replaced.
Noticed on that most brands also make a bright yellow hi-visibilty version. Any advantage?

Stronger

For some strange reason, strength tests showed a 5-15% breaking strength increase in the Hi-Vis vis moss green in three different brands. Can't speak from experience, I'm a fireline/smoke guy.

Aside from the possible strength advantage pointed out by Eric, my understanding for hi-vis is that for certain types of fishing, particularly in fresh water, it allows the angler to track his bait better. It doesn't have much application for me, as I fish at night

i use red powerpro in 30lb test and never had a prob.
