Hi Guy,
I guess you are new to this site. I also get the fisherman but lets compare apples to apples.
This site gives daily reports from all over the place, I use NY, FI inlet mostly.
I have met some decent people on this site and fished with them, gone to seminars, etc.
You have a lot of info here for all types of fisheman, surf, fly, boat, partyboat.
I have learned and given good advise here, and yes had some bad case scenirao also. But the good far out weighing the bad.
You met novcie boaters and anglers of all types and the majority of which seem to be respectful and gentleman. Not angels but good guys enjoying our pastime.
You also have some very experienced people that are willing to share there experience and talent to all. Not like the old days where evrything was a super secret.
With the price and exspence of fishing and running a boat any info you get here is FREE and so is book on the counter.
I would think about what you asked and why, if in fact you where deleted. This is a web site and not everything is perfect all the time.
So please my friend do some soul searching before you jump the gun.

You have to keep the realities of the marketplace in mind.
To be fair, neither publication discusses the other. This is easier to control when you don't offer discussion boards. Sounds like a gentlemen's agreement to me. Help them honor it.
As long as NE continues to offer useful info, why stir the pot by discussing the competition?

This has been discussed here many times. Actually, before they changed the format of the boards the word "fisherman" would be deleted automatically whenever it was posted.
This is what we've been told. Noreast is a free website and a free publication. Mentioning their competition is like advertising for them(other publications or websites). As it was said, neither publication mentions the other in print and that should carried over here as well. It is tough to keep up with that, with all of the free input on the boards, but it helps if everyone just respects that.
Unfortunately, this is not a free speech site. Noreast does not have many rules to follow while posting, but that is one of them.

I think it is bad carma to metion the other guy here. If you were trying to recommend something from the other guy i could see why your post was deleted. Remeber this site is nothing like the other guy! It is made up of posts by all the memebers and staff pros! you don't get that intervention form the other guy. So lets just say don't metion the other guy it is nice to know this Noreast still is a great place for fishing!
