Yeah.....some ol reports from back then would be interesting, I too sailed on the Palaces, BUT from pier "1". Recall watching the Verrazano Bridge footings being built in the water, and how they were pumping water out of the hole, and when we retuned to the Harbor after a day of fishing, how the water was BROWN with mud. And that was before the World Trade Center was built. Done Fluking and Porgie fishing on them. We lived in Manhattan, so it was just jump on the subway to South Ferry stop and get on the PALACE for a day of Fun, I think it was 5 bucks for a full day?
