DANBURY -- The Rev. Al Sharpton will speak for about 30 minutes Sunday afternoon at New Hope Baptist Church in Danbury.

................."It's a great opportunity for people to hear someone who is nationally known and who has a perspective that might be different than yours but still carries an important message," Pitts said Wednesday.

"I understand some people might see this event as controversial and unacceptable," Pitts added. "But the majority of people I've spoken to are very excited about Rev. Sharpton's appearance in Danbury.

Hey, I too think he's a fool and not worth wasting your time with.

But, like him or not, its America and he's got the right to express his views whether any of us agree with him or not.

I wouldn't waste my time. The goons he brings along probably won't even let you heckle him. Do something useful, like changing the air in your tires.
