Heading down to the jersey shore next week (my brother in-law has a house on the beach) I wanted to do some surf fishing but have little time. Just going for two days. Gettin there thursday night. What is my best best in terms of tackle. Want to hit the beach at night thurs and fri. Don't want to waste time at the bait shop. What is my best bet Plug,Bait,Spoon? Can anyone suggest an effective plug that may be killer brand size colr ect. Don't get to do too much fishing so I want to take advantage of my time in hopes of hitting a big one.

most likely bomber ,mambo minnows and assorted small plastic swimmers with a teaser.Maybe a slow sinking needlefish.
Fishing is slow this time regardless of where you go.
You also might want to pack a pencil popper or two for dusk and dawn
