Well guys I try and be as helpful to you as possible and now it's time for me to ask for HELP. I was in the Captree boat basin parking lot SW coner near the last lamp. 2:30am 10-19-02. I lost a Canon digital camera modle powershot s110 it is in a black Canon pouch with a red stripe. I know some one found it because I went back and it was not there. Can the person who found it please have a heart and return it to me?
There will be a reward! So comeon who ever found it I know you have to be a fishermen going out on such a windy day!
Please give a guy a break and return it PLEASE

Bummer man, I was there on Saturday from 8:30 to 2pm or so. No stripers for me but I got my ass blown all over.

Sorry to hear about your loss but here is an idea. When I pulled out my boat at about 2pm there were two other guys coming out and a State DEC Cop checking the boats for illegal fish. He may have found it since he was there when I left and checked my boat out as well. He was blondish guy with a mustache in his mid 30 to 40 range. I would ask any one of them that work the area before giving up!

Ok it was am but if you don't get the camera back. Tell me what type it was exactly and I guarantee you that you will pay a lot less for a better camera. I currently have a canon s30 and paid $450 during Christmas of last year. Not for nothing but everyone else was paying 600 at the time. So let me know and I will tell you where...

Im me and explain the new model i'm looking to get is the powershot 230 it is not out yet it will be available next week it is a new and updated camera from canon This is the one I want best price is like 399.00 they have come down from last year this is with a canon warranty not gray market like most camera shops! i called canon and asked for there retailers before I buy it! I even asked if they would let me know if anyone trys and gets the softwarea and acessories to use it but they won't help there? But if you get a good price let me know thanks for the reply

As far as the specs are concerned it is
*3.2 megapixels (very good for elph)
*The features are quite good but I don't see stitch feature on it like my S30.

This feature is cool because you can take a panoramic shot and convert it to a 3d image with quicktime. I use this a lot on the boat and in panoramic areas like SanFrancisco Bay...

*One thing I do like about the S230 is that it can take movies in 640x480 which is digital video camera quality and if you use a large compactflash you can get almost 4 minutes in an avi format. This is great because finally canon moved out of the 30 sec movie clip limitation.

*The standard camera comes with a 16mb compactflash. If you want a 256mb compactflash(recommended). Go here

might be a little late for this, but i haven't been following the boards that closely....the laura lee was doing a late striper trip that night, and I believe one of the capt dan boats was going out as well. they would've been back @ the dock around the time you were there, and they both have berths on the west end of the dock....maybe somene who was out with them turned it in to one of those captains since the park office was closed?

I've Used A Lot Of Digitals

Canon is the way to go

I have done research on these camera's myself and have seen many of them and used them. the reason i like the digital Elph is the size. It is as small as a pack of smokes. I love it for the size and the pictures are right up there with the best cameras on the market. The G2 is a great product but a bit to big for me. Ritz does have the best deal no shipping Thanks. And i did ask around down there boats officae no luck. Some guy made out with my loss. Kinda of like a bad day fishing. Oh well Thank you all for your concern and help Mike
