Whatever happened to customer service ?? There was a time when customers were treated with great appreciation and respect. Now it's unusual not to get treated with disdain. I can see where employees get these feelings but it's a big mistake. There are less than 10 % of customers that are a royal pain. Most are reasonable. What happens is that all customers are treated poorly because of the minority of obnoxious ones. It seems the less competition the more rude the business gets. Captree fleet boats wait on you hand and foot. It's a shame when you go out to have good time and that's what happens. One 10 lb. cod on an inshore codfish trip these days is a good catch. Courtesy on their part may have had you come back.

BigrexInc,

If you target bluefish, any boat is OK.

For night bass fishing with live eel, I recommend the Sunbeam fleet. the Francis Fleet also sails for night bass fishing.

For fluke, the Seven B and the Francis Fleet run a half day trip daily during summer. But the Francis Fleet have also full day trip. The fluke fishing off Point Judith is as goog as off the Montauk with less current in 40 - 50 ft. water. Sometimes the Sunbeam Fleet travel to the Peconic Bay during big fluke run in May.

For cod, I'd rather to go up MA, NH or Main. But sometimes you have very good cod fishing on the Francis Fleet at the Coxes Ledge from mid July to August.

For Porgy, from mid May to June go up to New Bedford, Onset or Hyannis. From late September to mid November try the Seven B or the Francis Fleet, especially when they go to off Block Island.

For blackfish, try the Francis Fleet during October.

For Tuna, The Seven B and the Francis Fleet have several overnight trip schedules from late September to the end of October. The Yankee Fleet also go down to New Bedford, MA for overnight tuna trip.
