ive see plenty of snappers in breezy, chasing small spering. I threw a 1/4 ounce silver kastmaster at them with no results! Would it help to use a different lure? or mayb a lighter one? Their just not biting. When are they gona start!??
HAVE ANY OF YOU CAUGHT THEM? IF SO< WIT WHAT LURE???

Try this, take a popper float, and tie about a 2.5-3 ft leader and tie on the smallest cast master or the like that you can find. Pop, let the lure fall, and repeat. Works for me. Fill the livewell quickly(for fluke) Good Luck.

use bait small spearing or half spearing they are in tbe bay. If you can keep them alive fluke love them if you use dead ones make sure mouth and gills are closed. I sometimes cut off the head so the don't spin. BIG FLUKE

If they are chasing bait Small castmaster works very well as does a popper wiyh a tube otherwise I use bait.They were in good at the Captree boat basin Sunday morning. Lou

The best rig for snappers is a Sabiki herring rig. Just jig it up and down and hold on.
