Myself ,Doug and Joev-the self proclaimed tube and worm man got out at 3am for some tube and worm trolling and we did about 40-50 bass in 4 hours of fishing. I have only slept 3 hours in 2 days so I am going to pass out right now, here are some pics.

Joey, 40 to 50 bass sounds awesome! Do you use green, or black tubes (or some other color), and do you tip them with real sandworms or plastics? I have used Pork rind to tip them, but not worms before.

I'm pretty sure that they were using red and they are tipped with real sand worms.

How are you trolling them?

Are you using conventional and braided line or spinning and braided line?

well I use braided line for everything pretty much, but mono I am sure will work...I tell you I dont think I had a strike on the tube and not catch the fish.

I'd use braid. Better hooksets.

i dont use anything but braid on the yaks when going for fish more than 4 lbs, the braided lines allow you to use small "yak-friendly" rods and gear and give u the added stregth to just yank away when theres a fish on...changing your drag on a yak can be a pain esp when the drag is screaming..i caught a 15lb blue early this season on my yak and i used a 6 foot 6inch shimano combo with 50lb test powerpro..(it is the size of 12lb test mono)...if i had 12lb test mono, i would have lost the fish..tight lines
