i've been reading a lot on these stoves.
guess no one here has one.....
I am going to PA to the stove place today to look at them....
it's about a 40 min drive.... they have a few barns full of displays.
nice place, good people
I have one but I never use it, it makes it too hot in my house. Thought it looked cool so I bought it.

Sell the bike, forget the stove, sell the house and move in with Joe, he misses you.

Whoa! Talk about rushing things. Are you the matchmaker in a hurry for your commission?

Whitfield Pellet Stove

I bought a house 2 years ago that had a brand new Whitfield pellet stove and I use it almost every day in the winter. It has a 2 speed blower and an automatic auger to feed the pellets and will hold a 40lb bag of pellets. I dont like running it when no one is home so we usually turn it on when we get home from work and will not have to use our oil heat. With the blower on high it will keep the whole downstairs of the house warm enough. Once we are sleeping or when we are not home I resort to using my oil heat but it def has saved me money on oil. It's like $5 for a 40 lb bag of pellets and one bag will usually last me about a week running the stove in the evenings.
