Dear Crazy-Al and Friends:

I would like to know if anybody can give me information regarding a easy to operate, effective, and handheld model GPS,.That would work well for small boat. Since I am half scottish lowest cost unit would be nice too however, I willing to pay for GPS that work well.

I have the Garmin 12 and it works great. I sit at home and plug numbers from charts and other sources and then they are there when I take the boat out. This model cost around $150 and its worth it.
