Went out on Capt Ken's California Girl (formerly Haley Elizabeth) on Monday with Big Ed (Edp35), Freddy (Hosencheiser), Johnny bluefish. Mike and "my friend Joe"

We had gorgeous weather and a pick of cod and haddock throughout the day. We finally hit our limit around 3pm with cod up 35lbs, haddock to 8lbs and one slammer pollock that had to be 25-30lbs. Most of the cod were 5-12lbs. Capt Ken knows his stuff and moved us off the small stuff on the shoals out deeper where the bigger boys were lurking. Ken's dad Ken sr was the mate a did a great job all day long. All in all, a great trip with lots of laughs. The best part, for me anyway, was nailing that 35lb'er and taking the pool we had.

Thanks for the invite Mark. We couldn't of asked for a better day weather-wise and the fishing was pretty good to. Capt. Ken and his Dad really know their stuff, they really gave us a full day and made sure we all went home arm weary. Always a pleasure to fish with you and your friends and it was a great way to spend my B-day. Looking forward to the trip next month and on the Viking in June. Next time I'll make sure to bring plenty of McDonald snack wraps for my friend Johnny Bluefish.

I hope my girl Rosalie does not start calling me Marc Fishchins or anything to that referance because I might just deserve that honor (LOL)

Thank You

Thank You for the kind welcome.
Could you kindly direct me to the discussion board for wives abandoned during fishing season. :)
Which in my case is all year round ;)

Tile Fish trip. Sounds right up his alley.

You really posted some great pictures!

My Advice

Fishark531 I'm afraid you can't stop the pattern.
You can try though.
To avoid having pictures of yourself made fun of (especially when you are dressed up funny and holding huge fish)...HIDE THEM IN A DRAWER! ;)
Just kidding.
Men always look great in fishing pictures...because they look so darn happy!
My regards to Rosalie.
