we went up to new hampshire and limited on cod and haddock on jeffries ledge. .we weren't worried about keeping shorts.it was 50/50 cod and haddock mostly on fresh clam.some on jig.the boat told everyone of the limits and sizes. they had a wood stick to hold the fish up to.we didn't get too many shorts.it was a pick, enough to keep it interesting. the locals were using 60-100 lb mono with 16-20 sinkers. we saw a lot of swinging and missing.no one complained to much about us using the power pro.the people using the mono did better with the slow lift technique.
