Yesterday i took a spill on the rocks.Not sure what i did more damage too,my foot or my rod.Part of my foot is purple,and i smashed the bottom eye on my surf stick.I have a Penn surf stick that i like alot.The question is can i do the repair my self or bring it to a tackle shop (lindenhurst area)Will i or the shop be able to wrap it like the factory?.Looks like tape with a laminated coating over it,and some blue wrap under it.All help is greatly apreciated.I do not want to miss out on any action,i have been getting them prety good...Thank you,Brian P.

Hi,

I hope your foot is okay.

Easy enough job if you have the guide, thread, epoxy and drying motor.

You have many tackle shops near you. Amity Harbour to Babylon. Why not call several of them and ask how much??? If they have to guide in stock it might take several days to do the job right.
