4/28 - En route to the Thumb, stopped at OB to pick 1 weakfish (20in) on bucktail and 1 bass (28in) near lighthouse on same bucktail. Then fished the thumb for flounder from 7am to 12. Right off the bat, plenty of action with many shorts, a few keepers & lots of skates. Action died 45 mins later and had a very slow pick rest of morning - ended with 8 keepers. Rains & winds did not help, we just hid behind the hard top. It was key to double anchor to avoid swinging back and forth.
Stopped on the way home by the light house and pick a couple of ****tails and 1 small bass. Then stopped at OB and picked another 20in weak. Not bad for gale force winds and driving rain.
