I was anxious to get out fishing with my brother Andrew this morning because I was pretty sure we would have a decent shot at some keeper bass! We fished from 4:45am - 8:00am - the end of the ebb tide and the beginning of the flood tide. Mark (Iplayfair) was fishing in the same area - it was great to fish with you Mark! Andrew ended up with 3 shorts and a nice fat 31 incher, while I ended up with 4 shorts and a 31 inch keeper as well. I hooked up with a few nice keepers that got off - one was very big and ended up taking off the entire front treble and split ring on a Gibbs yellow pencil popper. Poppers, a chicken scratch, and bucktails were effective today! I was so glad to get Andrew into some nice fish since he only has a few days to fish out here before heading back to Minnesota! We'll be back at the hot spot tomorrow morning! <like href="http://www.noreast.com/postedreports/view.cfm?id=84380" send="false" show_faces="false" width='layout="button_count"'></like> |
