Hopped aboard The Fishfinder out of Captree for some boat fishing and relaxation. First cast of the trip and I reel in a keeper bass. Nothing big. About 30", but nice to catch my first bass of the season. That was it until we had a little flurry around slack tide where six or seven schoolies were caught. Three for me. I hope the captain doesn't mind me giving away his secret spot, but all fish were caught at the Captree...Bridge. Good to see. Looks like things are starting to pick up. Out by Demo fishing the rip and there were about half a dozen or more seals in the area. Of course, we didn't stay there too long. Back to the surf...gotta break the ice there. <like href="http://www.noreast.com/postedreports/view.cfm?id=81907" send="false" show_faces="false" width='layout="button_count"'></like> |
