Fished the end of the incoming and start of the outgoing tide early this morning and had some good action! Using a bucktail and popper I managed to catch a few blues and schoolies. Before going home I tried an area that has been productive at a certain stage of the outgoing tide. On the second cast I nailed a nice 39 inch bass on a 5 inch pearl white storm shad. It felt really good to have that initial line peeiling action! It's nice to start seeing some bigger bass making their presence known. The fish was released quickly to fight again.
