While I can't answer your specfic question, in general all ground wires including bond wires fron metal through hull fittings, trim tabs and the engine ground including the negative battery lead are connected together. Simply put ALL metal that is in contact with sea water is to be connected [bonded] together. This is also where you would connect the ground for your electronics. Remember DO NOT paint the ground plate. Doing so will insulate it and prevent it from doing it's job effectivly. You'll just have to deal with the barnacles!
