I purchased a green crab /eel trap off ebay. I'm just curious on the best bait, location that I should drop it in my canal ( shallow,shadded, moving water...etc.) and time of year that is best to catch both species. Thanks Guys!!

Unused bunker of any fish scraps for the crabs. Greens are usually in the traps pretty quick.

nothing beats a quartered horseshoe crab for the slimy ones....and a blackfish rack lets some of those greenies get a lil revenge.
