Went out today from 6am to 3pm. Started out in GK harbor for some stripers. Fresh skimmers clams were the choice of bait however only a few run offs in the harbor and thats it. Some other boat was catching some nice bass on lures..HUH? Took a shot at round shoal and got 1 run off and nothing else. Headed to the beach off Great Kills near bug light and chummed hard. Managed to catch 2 shorts and 1 keeper striper on the incoming tide.
All in all a nice to day to be out on the water. Here are a few pics.
