Just wondering whats out there in the way of pictures. Seems like the pictures never seem to match your memory
of those nasty days.
This guy is about to get creamed by this incoming wave as he is hurling off the wrong side of the boat.

10-28-01 south of the fingers on Jeffries ledge in 35 knts nw wind on the Scout a 35 foot JC owned by Mike Cleary.
I thought about putting the camera down and pulling this guy back but it was his first trip and some lessons you just need to learn the hard way. He hasn't hurled on the wrong side of the boat again.

Youch bob,
wouldn't want to be that guy that day. I still can't figure out whether or not i was seasick that day back in october. The seas weren't rough, and I've never felt queasy before. I am still adamant about simply being tired that day. It's tough trying to sleep at a house with a couple of drunken fishermen playing video games all night. Talked to kenton a few days back. He caught a big giant trevally amberjack in 250 ft of water 1/2 a mile off the beach on, you guessed it, the good old ten ounce angerman.

That handle was made by Mark Paro, one of the regulars on the Scout. I believe it was pieced together out of colored plexiglas and then machined. It feels pretty good.
