Fished out of Glen Island area on Sat. 4/27 with friends Mike and Ken. Areas fished were Hog Island, cove on eastern side of Twin Island, and Davids Island. Hog and Davids Island were the most productive spots with most fish caught in 2-7 feet of water. Water temp. was 54*F and we fished 1.5 hours on the incoming and 2.5 hours on the outgoing tide. Total for the day was 18 schoolies from 17" to 27" all on light tackle spin and baitcasting outfits using soft plastics (Fin.S.Fish, Salt Shakers, and Grubs) rigged on 3/8-1/2 oz. jigs. This was our first outing of the season and a good one at that! See you on the water.
