Giant Spearings

Hello Folks,
As we are in the peak of our fluke season… FYI: I just wanted you to know that I visited Smokey and Linda (Lindenhurst B&T) today… and saw them packing the biggest (up to 6" long) freshly netted spearings!

They were huge and I still can't believe the size! If you are near by… Stop by, take a look and take advantage of it before it is all gone!

What about smelts? How well do they work?

Out on the east end smelts work even better than spearing. Of course you need some decent sized fish around to attack a smelt.
