Hi All,

I am not sure that he wants this posted here or not but I am going to do it anyway. If not; sorry Rich. when you are feeling up to it you can come down here and kick my butt in person! Preferably, by out-fishing me like usual.

Rich went in to the hospital yesterday to have some surgery.
I am asking all of you who have benefited from his advice, enjoyed a conversation with him and / or had the pleasure of fishing with him to join me in wishing him a speedy recovery.

Rich I wish you luck, a speedy recovery and, most importantly, the strength to get back out fishing soon.

Actually, I hear that West Central Florida, as well as having some AWESOME fishing, is a nice place to convalesce.... Come on down, even if we do get slammed by tropical storms, I have a generator. a blender, a bottle of rum and a banana tree.

At the risk of annoying RichTrox, let me say that while I've never fished with him I have met him and enjoyed the quality of his writing and the thoughts he expresses...Rich is in my prayers as a Noreast brother

I spoke with Rich, he says it's no real secret, and to let those who ask know what's going on. He'll be out for a while,...but we plan to fish together in October.
