Guys, Im moving into a 31 footer in the next week or two. The boat has an AC panel and shore power but NO gernerator. I'd like to add one but my budget limits me to a portable unit. I like the Honda eu series but was wondering if it's ok to leave them mounted outdoors (most likely on the tower)? If not...Does anyone know of a genny that is intended for that purpose?

I wouldnt leave out outside if its portable why not keep it indoors when your not using it

Only put it oustide when your suing it, otherwise the salt water will eat it alive. You'll get plenty of salt spray anywhere and everywhere on the boat.
