Would it be possible for anyone with experience to hold a HOW TO class on repairing scratches and cracks in gelcoat. HOW TO fiberglass and finish a repair. The cost of boating is very expensive and the more you can do your self, the more affordable boating will be. Also, doing it yourself will ensure it was done right and not slapped together. I've been to the fishing seminars, through this sight, that have been very informative and I'm sure many would like to learn about doing repairs on there boats. Thanks

I have done alot of fiberglass repair work but in no way am I qualified to hold a class.

I dont know if any of you have heard of it but I watch a show called "Ship Shape" it is on Mondays at 9am on the MSG plus channel which is channel 69 for those of you with verizon fios.

Every episode he goes over a new topic from repowering, adding new gauges, gel coat repairs, fiberglass repair, spider crack repair, adding electronics, outriggers, bow thrusters, towers, and much more.

Last episode I watched, he went over how to fix a chip in a fiberglass non-skid pattern deck. I also found the episode on repairing spider cracks in gelcoat to be very helpful.

It is a helpful show I know you can buy the dvds also, maybe you can get them in singles for the projects you need instead of spending a fortune on a whole seasons worth.
