I'm not all that experienced in telling what is normal stress cracking and what may actually indicate structural damage.
I was looking at used boats recently. A buddy of mine gave me tips on what to look for that might indicate a problem. So I did some research to help understand exactly what "gel coat" is and came across an article that helped me. For what it's worth it's at:
