Just wanted to let you guys know something. For the past three years I have been collecting Noreast magazine. During those years I found something worth mentioning. During the time of around July 10-25 in 99', 00', 01', there have been huge stripers caught on a south side beach of long Island. In early July 99', a 58.06 pounder caught on fire Island beach. In Mid July 00' a 50+ pounder in Gilgo, and I forgot about 01'. The fact is that there is a pattern setting up here. I wanted to point this out and thought it was interesting. So get out fishing on the south beaches. You might be rewarded greatly!
