anybody going to check this out tonight on Fox @ 8?

Looks interestng - thought I'd give it a whirl - after all they got it right with The Sara Conner Chonicals & 24...

from the writers & producers of Lost & Transformers

"Fringe" stands for Fringe Science, which includes everything from mental telepathy to reanimation, so much of your enjoyment will depend on how much you still miss the "The X-Files.? While "The X-Files" told us the truth is out there, "Fringe" posits the equally vague notion that "Everything is part of a pattern." So, if you're the type of person who needs every little thing, or indeed any little thing, to make sense in a pilot, then you should probably watch "Fringe" in solitude, preferably with the door closed, so the rest of us can enjoy it for what it is -- an uneven but promising jumble of horror, thriller and comedy that is not afraid to reference SpongeBob and "Altered States" in practically the same scene.

Good Show - I like it - a lot of potential - I'll be watching next week to see if it's got legs

Absolutely love they waythey identify locations

Well they could have used Neon signs.
A few too many plot twists, but all in all not a bad opening show. We'll see if they can keep it up next week.

Now we have to wait three or four weeks to find out how she gets away from the bad guys?

Wasn't it Baboon semen?

It's a good show you should watch a couple of episodes.

i didn't read back in this thread, but when is it on the tube? (day of week & time)

also, one of the crew covered up the n.y. portion of my inspection sign because he said it is supposed to be taking place in boston.

Yeah, the show is set in Boston. It's on on Tuesdays at 9PM, but you can probably find back episodes online at the fox website.

Interesting show last night. I was surprised when she really did shoot him!

I did notice that most of the scenes were shot in NYC and not in Boston.
I expected some kind of scuffle when the guy came to take Walter.

My DVR cutoff as the Nina was getting in the elevator, did i miss anything important?

The observer is Walter Bell?

I don't think the observer is Walter Bell. Bell was a co-worker with Walter in the old days and this guy looks way younger than Walter.

Well, Walter seemed to know him and didn't appear afraid.

That's true, Walter acted almost like he was expecting him.

BTW - just before "the Note Taker" showed up it looked like Walter may have found the missing part of the manuscript. At least that's what I got from it.

Walter found another copy of the original manuscript, which included the part that was missing from the other copy.
wader wrote:
do you think "The Note Taker" showed up & took Walter because of the newly found manuscript?

I don't think so, Walter only found the new copy of the manuscript a few seconds before the guy walked in. In fact he was still looking at it when the guy entered the lab.

that's what made me think the two where conneted. Just seemed too coincidental.

Maybe Joe has it right and the guy is clairvoyant.
