Hello,

I was just wondering who's going to the Freeport Show.

I am bouching this idea about gathering a small group together after the show and getting something to eat. I know this is kinda a last minute thing... but since a few of us are going to be around... I think this would be nice.

My surfrat buddy Paul Melnyk (Montauk "extreme" surf guru) will be doing a Montauk seminar (filling in for Atilla) and after the show we are gonna go out to eat… Also, my buddy Rich and his partner Andy (host of the new Fox Sports / Northeast Angling Show) called and asked what I was doing for dinner... So the possibility of them joining us is good too. ;)

Anyway, last year I had a big gathering at my friend's Chinese restaurant and it was a lot of fun... This time I am thinking of a smaller group...

So, who's interested? This is could be a lot of fun… we are gonna talk about fishing, exchange ideas and I will even show you the new extreme "hurricane" jacket sample designed by Aquaskinz Inc. If you fish hard like many of us do… You probably will go gaga over this new drytop. ;)

Remember, I like to see a "small" but a serious group together…. So, who's interested? You can either email me or post here. ;)

See ya!

Machete,

When, Where and Time? I am thinking this coming Saturday night. In fairness to the Freeport Show attendees… I like to meet at the Northeast Angling / Aquaskinz booth around 7 PM. I also like to get a "general" head count because I may have to make arrangements with the restaurant owner.

Things could be a little hectic and at this time I am not going to reveal where because I don't want people showing up without notice. It's a very nice restaurant and it should be able to accommodate a few of us. As far as cost is concerned.. We will divvy up all the dishes and drinks.

Like I said… keep it simple and small. ;)

OK guys,

So far we have about 15 fishers and RickG, PaddleOn, NightCaster, LkyLindy, Max are in!

It's all about having fun and meeting new people!!! I am currently getting a head count and planning to order our food in advance so we have plenty of time to BS, show pictures, exchange ideas, drink and party!!!

Also, to prevent last minute entrant and confusions… The restaurant directions will be distributed at the show ! ;)
