I was up in Forestburg ,NY going trout fishing. I noticed a large tract of land owned by hartwood syndicate. Are they a sportsman club ? Never see hunters or anybody on the land. The posted sign says the group is from Islandia,NY. Lets hope that land is never developed. Its the best part of the Catskills. Extremely remote!

How was the trout fishing? Which stream did you fish? Hoping to get up to the Beaverkill in a couple of week.
Let's hope,that with the coming of gambling to the Catskills, the large tracts of land don't get swallowed up by developers.
