Hey All,

I have my boat on the south shore and I am looking to trailer my boat to the north shore. I am sick and tired of catching all of these small 17-19in fish. I am looking to put some fillets on the table. I hear thier is a very good bite on the north shore around Mt.Sanai and Huntington. If anyone one knows of a general location were I can fish and launch my boat I would greatly appreciate it.

Check the ramp listings on this site. Most ramps you will need a resident permit. Not sure if you can buy 1 for the day.

If you're trailering and want big fluke, the biggest can be found on the North Fork,, head to Greenport area..

You can launch for a small fee at the Bridge Marina in Bayville, which is a short ride by boat to Huntington. Mount Sinai is a bit farther, but reachable if you've got the time & gas.

Hey Chris,

Hot Bite going on right now on the north shore. No secrets on locations....just look for the birds working the sandeels that the Blues are working and you will be rewarded with some nice Fluke under them.
