Al,

What would you recommend as the best chum mix for attracting those tasty flatties? Do you prefer sand/bloodworms, clams, mussels, for bait?

Folks,
The past 8 years or so the flounder fishing took a nosedive... but I'll be honest with ya. There are flounder in our waters! You just have to work at it and you will find them.

As far as bait goes, I would take an assortment of bait (mussel, sands and bloodworms) and see what works best. As far as chum is concerned... There is nothing better than mussel chum to wake them up. ;)

To All Sinker Bouncers,

Just an FYI:
Before you get all excited about flounder fishing, tomorrow (Nov. 30 / NY waters) is the last day of Flounder season...The season will reopen on the Third Saturday of March to June 30.

What is NJ's regulation? Anybody?
