Today was a personal best. I'm not old enough to remember the days of filling a garbage can with flounder but I do remember when it was better than just one fish a trip. Flounder have been slow for the last few years but today was a banner day. I began fishing on some very appealing broken bottom just after the tide began to move in and had life immediately. I caught 11 plump fatties between 12.5 and 16 inches. I kept two for the frying pan. The bight was steady for most of the incoming. I also picked one schoolie on slack tide on the way back in. Hopefully the flounder will continue to improve. Until next time, tight lines! <like href="http://www.noreast.com/postedreports/view.cfm?id=192583" send="false" show_faces="false" width='layout="button_count"'></like> Like old times |
