flounder have started their move from the bays into the inlet. Fished 2 hours this morning (brrrrrr) caught 2 flounder on clam - one big fat keeper and and one just a keeper. I threw the smaller one back because I thought for sure there would be more - not to be. Took one home for the table. ENE wind kicking and very cold - not a comfortable morning but it still beats sleeping in. I also caught a ****tail blue and my first fluke (returned) of the season (15") on a bass assasin.
A few days of warm sun will help pick up the flounder bite.
