A bit late, but went out on a shared charter out of Point Pleasant on Friday. A bit breezy, but the fishing was great.

Capt. put us on two drops near the bridge, chummed heavily all day. Worms and clams both produced. Fish came in short flurries. Four fisherman and the tally was 33 keepers at the end of the day. Patience was the key to catching today. Two of us limited out.....flundy dinners for a few weeks.

Seems that the reports on the bigger waters of Raritan Bay are not as productive as the shallower waters of North Barnegat.....looking to hit the Morgan Creek area in a week or two when the bay warms up a bit more.

Size of keepers

Most were about 14"and the largest 16"....nice filets as the fish were thick. Raritan should give up some bigger fish later in the season.
