floro carbon rigging for trolling, is it worth it?

Up until this point in time, I have always used mono for rigging my trolling lures and have had success. However, it just dawned on me, that maybe flouro carbon would be better. I was wondering if anyone was using flouro and if they were, did they find that it has worked better, worse, or no difference.

Thanks for the advise.
I did want to make it clear that I didn't mean line on the reel, I only meant the line on the actual trolling lure (loop to hook)
