Where can I gaet flat bar aluminum? I live in Middle Island and I need a piece 3/16" x 3" x 5'-0". Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Tried both Home Depot and Lowes. They only carry 1" wide stock.

If you can get to Stamford CT there is a scrap metal place here that doesn't just resell everything he gets He keeps a lot of stuff, he has plenty of Aluminum & SS. He would have that. The name of the place is Vulcan. A great spot for some unusual and hard to find metal.

Donzie, We fabricate aluminum all of the time at my shop. I checked
but I dont have a piece of 3/16" x 3" bar. I checked with Yarde
Metals a 3/16" x 3" x 12' long length of aluminum bar would cost
$ 70.00 I could possibly order it for you since I have an account
with them. If you are interested let me know - or you can contact them directly they are on the island.

there is a salvage yard in Statenisland that hs all that stuff cheap The place is huge and 1 strip or 1000 stripes is no problem
the name maybe JV salvage but im not sure
track this place down the have it all cash n carry
