Im looking for a rod and reel spinning combo for blue strippers sea bass. Ill be fishing out of Freeport under the bridges and in the ocean any advice.

Are you planning on casting from the beach or fishing from a boat?
I seriously doubt that a spinning rod is what you're looking for unless you're talking about just now getting into surfcasting.
A little more info,and I'm sure many around here will offer up some info back.

Have u ever seen fishing kay walker with the man Flip. They use spinning rods all the time off boats to fish for bonefish and cobia which in my oppinion are simmilar to striper and blues

I use 8ft ugly stix with penn 6500...what a blast on stripers & blues !!! Makes a great spinning outfit.
