I fished the north shore of Montauk this past weekend. (At the Sun & Sound beach by the jetty)
Managed 8 Porgy, one short striper and a blackfish by using worms. Water is still warm, but a few cool nights could change that.
Montauk has been on fire lately...go there...park
in the lot...walk to refreshment stand and go down
path to bluff area...bring food and water...at
dawn or dusk preferably...start fishing a pencil
popper or bucktail and rind...look for birds...
stay flexible...be ready to move...one last
item...WEAR KORKERS...good luck...roc'hopper [b
