Been extremely slow fishing with only two small bass caught so far, both last week. Today while working, I walk to my truck and find a good size white perch in the road. Is this a sign? Are the fish gods continuing to torment me this spring? Have I lost my mind? All possible. I've decided since my mind was lost years ago that it's a sign. Tomorrow is the day and since they're coming on land I'm breaking out my leaky waders and am joining them in the water tomorrow. I'm assuming the perch was from a tidal pond about a half mile away dropped from an osprey, but I didn't see any claw marks. I figured if someone was screwing with me it would have been a bunker under my seat. Let's hope it breaks open this weekend in the western sound.
