Fished an eastern Brookhaven beach last night from 8:30 until 10:00. The tide was outgoing, near bottom of tide. Water was calm, with barely a ripple as fog started to come over from Connecticut. For a while there was a pretty good lightning show going on in CT. I caught 2 stripers on a sloped head, metal lip swimmer, one short and another at 31". Both fish safely released. Called it a night as the fog started to get thicker.
