So they finally showed in my neck of the woods.. After 8 days straight of being on the beach 4-5am before work and just beating on gorilla blues.. 10-20-30 a day.. Some days two sessions of madness.. I was really ready for a change of pace and catch some bass... So as soon as I got a nice lil message delivered that the bass were chewing I ran out there 4 this morn and left the sure thing gorilla fest. Get to the spot and tide just topping off.. Standard fog that been here all last week.. No wind and fish busting all over.. Start with my ole faithful jig and was fish on first few cast.. Nothing fancy but it had stripes.. Few cast later another one on about the same 25-26" class fish.. Then Wolfdog shows and joins the fun.. Had a huge blow up in range so I smoke my jig in as fast as I can and fire it out right on boil and ...Slammed.. Into something much nicer and thought maybe is was gonna be a big chomper but after it settled in and kept pound deep in the current knew it was bass... Ended up with really fat nice lil bass prob went 13-15lbs.. Felt nice and made leaving the sure thing all worth it.. Well I ended the day with one blue and dan had two of those 26"ish fish and one 29".. All and all been a great week and lets hope it only get better... Sorry for blury pic... someone takes a crap pic..(just playin bro) <like href="http://www.noreast.com/postedreports/view.cfm?id=179082" send="false" show_faces="false" width='layout="button_count"'></like> Chubber |
